Everything a trucking-insurance agency does on a Monday, done by lunch.
RenewRig is the CRM built inside a working trucking-insurance agency. These are the shipping features — the ones our own agents use every day — not a roadmap.
Smart Intake — the application writes itself
Clients photograph whatever they have: licenses, registrations, dec pages, loss runs. AI reads every file in about five seconds and fills the application. Whatever is still missing becomes a question on the client’s page, in the client’s language.
Every US motor carrier, one search away
The FMCSA census, indexed locally and refreshed monthly — close to two million active carriers. Filter by renewal month, current insurer, fleet size, state, or name. New authorities get a congratulations pitch; renewals get a compare pitch.
Renewal autopilot
A month-by-month renewal radar, playbook checklists that tick themselves as documents arrive, and reminders that chase what is still missing — so the renewal list stops living in someone’s head.
Loss runs that file themselves
One click generates the letter of authorization and the loss-run requests to every prior insurer, collects the signature, sends the requests, follows up on a schedule, and files what comes back under the policy.
Signatures without the chase
Built-in e-signature links with an audit trail — draw or type, timestamped — and DocuSign for the agencies that already run on it.
A client portal truckers actually use
One link, no login: where the renewal stands, what to send, and the quote you picked for them. English always — Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, or Spanish underneath.
Text updates, with consent on record
Renewal reminders and document requests by SMS, opt-in and opt-out recorded, so a client who only answers texts still answers.
Connected markets
Send a submission to a connected carrier from the client file and get the indication back inside RenewRig — starting with Cover Whale.
Built for teams
Agents own clients, assistants work their agent’s book, and every lead shows who is on it — nobody cold-calls a carrier a teammate is already quoting. Commission and referral tracking is built in.
Your book stays yours
Every agency is fully isolated. The public FMCSA data is shared; everything else — clients, notes, quotes, claims — is visible to your team only.
Built around the renewal, not the sale
Most agency software is organized around new business: a lead comes in, a policy goes out. In trucking insurance the money is in the book you already have — the renewal that comes around every twelve months with a new loss run, a new driver, a truck that was sold and a truck that was bought. RenewRig starts from the renewal date and works backwards: what needs to arrive, from whom, by when, and what to do when it does not.
Where the market data comes from
Carrier identity comes from the FMCSA’s own registration data, refreshed monthly, never scraped from a third party. Prior insurers and renewal dates are what the client tells you and what the filings show. For the question of where to place a risk — which carriers and wholesalers actually write dump trucks in Texas or NEMT in Florida — we built a separate, public directory: Carrierlens.
How loss runs work in RenewRig
The loss-run workflow is the feature agencies ask about first, so it has its own page: loss run request software for trucking agencies — what a loss run is, why every submission needs one, and exactly what RenewRig automates.
